據印度媒體本(103)年9月3日報導，歐薩馬賓拉登生前的得力助手、現為蓋達組織領導人薩瓦里（Ayman al-Zawahiri）透過錄影畫面宣布，全球伊斯蘭極端運動將在印度次大陸成立新的分支，並宣示「我們要讓伊斯蘭重返遭入侵前曾屬穆斯林世界的印度次大陸，這樣可以對在緬甸、克什米爾（Kashmir）、古茶拉底（Gujarat）省、孟加拉、阿默達巴德（Ahmedabad）和阿薩姆（Assam）省的穆斯林提供支援」。另外，印度媒體亦指出已有跡象顯示有來自...
